vectorstream Pro
@vectorstream/pro is an extension of the free editor (@vectorstream/editor, MIT). The free editor has a
socket for it and does nothing different without it; with it, the following is there:
| Part | What | Page |
|---|---|---|
| Ten more kinds of rule | touching, overlapping, covering, filling without gaps, lying on a line or boundary, distance, minimum area and width | Rules between layers (Pro) |
| Attribute conditions | a rule that checks only the elements an attribute selects | Conditions |
| Rules in meters | measured with the metric of the map | Meters |
| The red preview | the preview of a tool turns red when the next action would be refused | The red preview |
| Snapping onto target layers | drawing snaps onto the layers an active rule names | Snapping |
| The incremental check | after an edit only the elements near it are judged again | Performance of the preview |
| The circle as a cutting shape | cut-circle and difference-circle |
Modes (Pro) |
| The list of violations | with jumping to the element (@vectorstream/pro/ui) |
The application |
Plug it in with import '@vectorstream/pro/global' (announced for every editor built afterwards) or with
new Editor(…, adapter, { erweiterungen: [proErweiterung()] }). A document with rules of these kinds loses nothing in an editor
without Pro: the rules are kept, unchanged, and only not checked (see
Compatibility).
The license key and the watermark#
proErweiterung({ lizenz: 'vs1.…' }) takes the key; for import '@vectorstream/pro/global' call setzeProLizenz('vs1.…') before the
first editor is built. The check is offline (no network access) and never locks a function: every state of the license leaves
every feature working. Without a valid key, on an address other than localhost, Pro shows a small label in the corner of the
map and writes one line to the console, once per page.
The label is a reminder, not a lock. It is put back after the next redraw if it was removed from the page, but it does not
fight a style: hiding it with CSS (for example display: none !important) is not undone, and anyone who can change the page can
remove it. A valid key is what makes it disappear: with one, it is never created.
